israeli-fighter-bomber

The Israeli Air Force (IAF) has been training on long-range flights, including refueling in mid-flight, in preparation for potential strikes against Iranian nuclear targets, the Ma'ariv daily reported Friday.

The training program has been taking place for some time but has only been released for publication Friday.

Reductio Ad Occupationum - Blame Israel for Everything

blame-israel

As the fighting goes on in Gaza the world watches and frets wishing those nice boys in their ski masks would stop shooting at each other and get back to their usual time honored hobby of killing Jews.

The bout of savage barbarism that exploded in Gaza and is threatening to spill over into the West Bank challenges the world's deeply held assertion that every terrorist atrocity against Israel was caused by Israel's oppression of the Palestinian Arabs. The sight of Fatah and Hamas terrorists shooting, beheading and throwing each other off tall buildings leads any intelligent person to the inevitable conclusion that Fatah and Hamas haven't been killing Israelis because they had no choice but because they are ruthless murderers greedy for power and who have no regard for human life.

cyberwarAmerica prepares for 'cyber war' with China

China is striving to overtake the United States as the dominant power in cyberspace, according to a senior American general, in what is emerging as a new theatre of conflict between nation states and a growing priority for the Pentagon.

The Chinese foreign ministry rejected the Pentagon report as 'brutal interference'

Lt Gen Robert Elder, commander of the 8th Air Force, said that all of America's foes, including Iran, were looking at ways of hacking into US networks to glean trade and defence secrets.

Turkey’s leaders plan Muslim Europe

turkey-flagA sinister slogan attributed to the AKP is that democracy is 'a bus we can ride until we reach our station'

For the AKP, democracy is merely a means to a higher Islamic goal, says edward luttwak
If you thought Turkey was no threat to the West, think again. A new generation of politicians is aiming to Islamise the state by stealth. The AKP - Adalet ve Kalkinma Partisi, or Justice and Development Party - has a stranglehold on Turkey for the foreseeable future.

The AKP was founded to replace a previous Islamic party banned for extremism. It benefited hugely from the corruption scandals that dragged down the previous government, taking two-thirds of parliament in the 2002 general election (on a third of the vote).

Yes, the Mideast matters

Should we simply ignore the Mideast?

israel-piechart

DIVIDE AND RULE was an old maxim of Britain's empire. In the Middle East today, there's certainly no shortage of division. But who is ruling as a result?

Any lingering hopes of a two-state solution to the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians evaporated last week as the Islamist extremists of Hamas seized control of the Gaza Strip. Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, leader of the more secular Fatah party, now finds himself president of the West Bank only. The next Middle Eastern peace plan will have to be a three-state solution: Israel, Hamastan and Fatahland.

The Regime Against the Nation

Last week, in one of the great uprisings of modern politics, Middle America rose up and body-slammed the national establishment.

The Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty for 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens, and for the businesses that have hired them -- a bill backed by La Raza and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, The Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post -- went down to crushing defeat.

Majority Leader Harry Reid fell 15 votes short (45 to 50) of shutting off debate. Like the rout of the Dubai ports deal, the victory was achieved by a firestorm of public protest, reflected in millions of phone calls and e-mails, and citizens marching to town meetings.

Eris: More Massive than Pluto

Eris, a dwarf planet currently orbiting the Sun at about twice Pluto's distance, has been measured to have about 27 percent more mass than Pluto. The mass was calculated by timing the orbit of Eris' moon Dysnomia. Images taken with a ground-based Keck telescope, when combined with existing images taken by Hubble Space Telescope, show that Dysnomia has a nearly circular orbit lasting about 16 days. Cataloged as 2003 UB313 only a year ago, infrared images also showed previously that Eris is actually larger in diameter than Pluto. The plane of Eris' orbit is well out of the plane of the Solar System's planets. In the above drawing, a scientific artist has imagined Eris and Dysnomia orbiting our distant Sun. No space missions are currently planned to Eris, although the robotic New Horizons spacecraft bound for Pluto has recently passed Jupiter.

Egypt threatened by Iranian support for Hamas

fatah-womenThe crisis in the Palestinian territories threatened to spill across the Middle East last night after Egypt accused Iran of sponsoring Hamas in its takeover of Gaza and said that Teheran now posed a threat to its own national security.

The Egyptian government, which reinforced its military presence on its border with the Gaza Strip last week, said that it would do everything possible to prevent an Islamist regime from cementing control of the territory.

Treason Abounds ~ Gov't Cabal Plots North American Union (NAU)

Didn't you every wonder why Carter gave away the Panama Canal?

NAU

In his article titled: Meet Robert Pastor: Father of the North American Union, Jerome Corsi charges that: "Robert Pastor intends to give away U.S. sovereignty to a newly forming North American Union exactly as he gave away the Panama Canal to Panama during Jimmy Carter's presidency."(99)

There is absolutely no doubt about the clear and evident goal of the CFR as constantly expressed by their 'golden boy' Dr. Robert A. Pastor. He has been a consistent 'mouth piece' for their agenda for a minimum of eight years which includes the two years of study he made of the European Union before he wrote his 2001 'blueprint' for the NAU. He has been groomed, engaged, supported and showered with accolades from within and without the CFR's many tentacled operations, organizations and 'good ole boy' connections. Over the years he has had access and positions at the highest levels of our government.

Utah, Colorado rival OPEC oil reserves, lure Chevron, Exxon, Shell

shaleoil-reservesColorado and Utah have as much oil as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Venezuela, Nigeria, Kuwait, Libya, Angola, Algeria, Indonesia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates combined.

That's not science fiction, according to Bloomberg News. Trapped in limestone up to 200 feet (61 meters) thick in the two Rocky Mountain states is enough so-called shale oil to rival OPEC and supply the U.S. for a century.

Exxon Mobil Corp. and Chevron Corp., the two biggest U.S. energy companies, and Royal Dutch Shell Plc are spending $100 million a year testing new methods to separate the oil from the stone for as little as $30 a barrel. A growing number of industry executives and analysts say new technology and persistently high prices make the idea feasible.

The PC end of the English-speaking peoples?

As Tony Blair prepares to leave 10 Downing St., "Muhammad" is the second-most popular name in Britain.

bush-blairAs George W. Bush is finally deserted by his long-suffering conservative base, "Jose" is not the second-most popular name in the United States. But Spanish, as yet unofficially, is America's second language.

Such developments represent two obviously different phenomena -- the impact of Muslims and Hispanics on societies once aptly summed up as English-speaking peoples. What is similar is the phenomena's transformative effect: Britain is increasingly defined by its accommodation of a tiny (3 percent) Islamic minority; the United States is increasingly defined by its accommodation of a large Hispanic minority (14.8 percent), some considerable number of whom are here illegally.

Are the Hitler Parallels Too Close for Comfort?

"Those who do not remember the past are condemned to relive it."-George Santayana

hitler-parallel

On May 9, 2007, with little attention from the snoozing media, George W. Bush issued a "presidential directive" that allows him to assume control of the federal government following a "catastrophic emergency."

Although the directive doesn't specifically identify the types of emergencies that would qualify as "catastrophic," it is vague enough to encompass "any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government function." As Matthew Rothschild of The Progressive noted, it could include "another 9/11, or another Katrina, or a major earthquake in California." In fact, the language is so broad that it could include almost anything the public is led to believe might have a major impact on the country. Not surprisingly, the president's order comes neatly packaged within the trappings of national security and safety.

World War III Threatens to EXPLODE in Middle East!

middle-east-in-crisisThe Middle East is boiling! The United Nations is desperately trying to stave off a full scale war. Here are the amazing prophecies about the FATE of Egypt!

by Herbert W. Armstrong

WOULD you say that it is an amazing thing if 2600 years ago there were men who could look down into the future and foretell what is going to happen to Egypt?—and to all major nations in the next 15 or 20 years in this last half of the 20th century?

You would say that that is impossible, I suppose.

But Is It?

Such men did exist! Such prophecies were made. And yet, what chance would there be of making a prophecy of that kind and bringing it to pass without divine inspiration?

This article Reprinted from the May 1956 Plain Truth Magazine contains many prophecies and predictions about Egypt and the Middle East. While they have gone on longer than anticipated they are increasing today with frightening speed.

articArctic spring's 'rapid advance'

Earlier ice melt could disrupt the area's ecosystems, the study says Spring in the Arctic is arriving "weeks earlier" than a decade ago, a team of Danish researchers have reported.

Ice in north-east Greenland is melting an average of 14.6 days earlier than in the mid-1990s, bringing forward the date plants flower and birds lay eggs.

The team warned that the observed changes could disrupt the region's ecosystems and food chain, affecting the long-term survival of some species.
